NEID Basin Sewer Separation:
Field Verification

sewer-stormwater separation.jpg

The Northeast Industrial District (NEID) project area comprised approximately 560 acres of light industrial/commercial land use. The project goal was to eliminate combined sewer overflows by separating sanitary from storm water flow.

KEY ELEMENTS:

  • EAE provided two field teams for verification of aerial surveying and utility data.

  • EAE's intense effort in field verification helped to meet the project's hard deadline for construction.

  • The presence and locations of manholes, inlet structures, fire hydrants, curbs and drives, vegetation, sidewalks, and other site features were verified to identify possible obstacles to construction.
