Jill BiesmaJill Biesma, one of our principals with more than 36 years of environmental engineering experience, specializes in environmental risk management for purchasers and lenders. She has assisted large corporations and banks to develop environmental policies that minimize risks associated with property transfer and regulatory compliance. Ms. Biesma has made presentations to various organizations including the National Business Institute, Missouri Bar Association's Continuing Education Programs, Kansas City Commercial Real Estate Women (KC CREW), and the Kansas Regional Association of Realtors, as well as to private architectural, engineering, and legal consultants. Her presentation topics have included strategies for environmental due diligence for commercial real estate transactions, recent changes in environmental legislation, environmental risk management for lenders and investors, and focused seminars on asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and radon.
