Brownfields Redevelopment
As a
government planning official, you recognize that redevelopment of industrial
property is problematic. One disreputable site can blight an entire
neighborhood. The owner does not know if the site is actually contaminated
and wants to “clean it up,” but the potential liabilities are
frightening. There are state grants available to help identify site problems,
prepare a plan for redevelopment, and protect the owner from liabilities. EAE
can help you through the process from identification of the sites through
grant proposals and Environmental Site Assessments to the letter of
Certification of Completion.
